We were 17 when we met! A major fragment of our life, we grew together – Learning and arguing (sometimes). We got many tags including Miss. Watson and Miss. Crick!
Yet, I wonder how we came long. You being happy – go – lucky species and me: The Ms. formal. Maybe, that’s why people say, “Opposites attract”.
But there is one such thing, we are on the same page. Being an artist at heart. Doesn’t matter what our professions are, we will always remain art enthusiasts.
Remember, going to book shopping and dropping at Landmark to buy cute stationery’s. Aah! Those days were simply great. No worries on what’s happening in the lab or where’s my money going! Well by buying art supplies…*wink*
Let me introduce you to who I am writing about.
My dearest friend Shilpa Madhavan aka Miss.Crick, Sasha and Crimson Sketches.
Shilpa is not just an artist. She is an aspiring scientist and currently accomplishing her PhD at IIT Bombay. We are together since our engineering days and that’s why we still exist. Just kidding! It was such that, we were tied up in one thread. To an extent, we were named as Sita-Gita by our classmates. In this era, I would like to say that, Shilpa is one such friend who understands. *Plays Emotional Violin Music*
Crimson Sketches is her Instagram page where she does her artworks and customises art forms according to your needs.
I got lucky that I brought some of her bookmarks. *Always a bibliophile*.
Don’t believe me! Here are some clicks.
One of her best work! Miniature Card.
Surprise!!!! I have my brand new logo exclusively designed by Shilpa (Crimson Sketches).
I know… Do you want to see more of her artworks? (and after seeing them if you have the urge to buy them, Don’t blame me). Because her art is addictive!
Follow her here:
This is dedicated to the artist in her. Art is meant to be celebrated.
